Remmi and Friends
Remmi and Friends was created with artist Colleen Ulliac, the After School Care program at Inglewood School as well as the 124 St. Youth program. It was named after Remmi who actively participated in creating this work. Area children and youth featured on the mural selected their own poses and helped with the painting and design. This mural was created in response to racist graffiti on the building across from the school and turned a very upsetting event into a community building project.
This project was funded by the Inglewood Community League and the City of Edmonton Mural Program.
