Community Art Projects

Agnieszka Matejko is an artist, arts reviewer, and sculpture instructor. Her recent projects include the Welcome Mural, a digital wall mural in the Ormsby Community Centre that features stories of newcomers, a collaborative poetry/ video installation “adrift” about homelessness and a web-based project created with Robert Lysay founded on “The Space Between You and Me” that address issues of inclusion. Agnieszka is a regular contributor of art reviews to Galleries West. She has curated numerous community projects including the Fine Art Student Gala and student sculpture exhibitions on Stony Plain Road.
